The best throw I saw all day came from Vikings rookie quarterback Christian Ponder, who hit Percy Harvin between the numbers on a 39-yard touchdown pass on fourth-and-13 in the fourth quarter. It was a perfect strike, and even though Harvin was somehow being well-covered by Falcons inside linebacker Curtis Lofton on the play, the Vikings quarterback put it where only Harvin could make the play.

This is looking like a great class of rookie QBs
The only bust seems to be Gabbeet and we still don’t know about Locker. Not many teams in the NFL will have QB problems after next years draft.

I wouldn't say Gabbert is a bust
Can you name one reciever for the Jags off the top of your head? Plus, all he has to learn from is the brother of that dickhead who knocked us out of the playoffs in 2003.
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, it's just that your's is stupid.

Percy Harvin
just like Jared Allen has done previously this year, almost single-handedly willed this mostly-garbage team to victory. It is inspiring to see some of these guys (Allen, Harin, Peterson, Ponder) just put forth an amazing effort in chase of the victory. It’s too bad we can’t just clone these guys and make a team out of em.
Of course, that’s assuming we could teach their clones to play other positions…
ACTUALLY....
…the most shocking thing is that this is that Jackass Don Banks, who’s become a permanent Homer for the FudgePackers. Now that he lives in Madison, Wisconsin he’s all gaga over those Packers (what a surprise, eh). It’s subtle but if you’ve read his crap over the past 3 years, it would drive you nuts.
I was stunned to actually see ANYTHING positive about our Vikings whom he now apparently hates (he used to cover our team for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, I think, if I’m not mistaken, back in the day).
He’s an a-hole normally but at least he said something decent about us this time.
awesome
Absolutely awesome play.
It was a ballsy play- and just a perfect pass/catch. Shades of Favre right there. :}

It's a shame...
…that Brian Billick was so busy crying for a half hour after the play about who was covering Harvin that he never actually commented on the perfect pass by Ponder. Oh, and did he comment enough on the injured long snapper and how the kicking game was going to go to hell because of having a back up? Talk about beating a dead horse, what an idiot.
Billick also said
That Donovan McNabb “didn’t do anything to warrant getting benched.”
It’s like when announcers prepare to do Vikings games, they don’t even look at the Vikings.
