Trouble in paradise
What's new with the Vikings and their FO issues. Good read from Zulgad which goes into some detail about the circumstances this year regarding Chris Cook and how people felt about it. It also shows the pulling and tugging between Spielman and Frazier at times and how critical it is to get a GM in here to right this floundering ship. Let's hope Wilf get's his act together and finally takes the plunge.

Yeah, it was a good read.
It just shows how messed up this “Triangle of Authority” that the Vikings have.

Yep, good read.
We have a mess on our hands and if someone doesn’t put their foot down soon it seems unlikely to change any time soon. It’s sad.

Agreed with abba and christian
We can get all sorts of good players, but if the FO and coaches are crap, we’re stuck. Very upsetting that they can’t get their shit together.
Well, I think this should seal any
Chris Cook speculation. Frazier wants him out, so, even if the team doesn’t release him, I don’t think he’ll be getting too much playing time.
We will definitely be targetting the secondary in the upcoming draft/Free Agency.
PS: Thanks for another blown 2nd round pick, Spielman. You rock.
Hey, it's not Spielman's fault if the guy turns into a criminal.
I mean, it’s not like we’ve ever succeeded in drafting guys with character red flags before… You know, like Percy Harvin.
i wonder if we could trade Cook to the Patriots for one of their 1st rd picks...
…both of which will be late rdrs, considering the Pats and Saints are likely to go deep into the playoffs.
wouldn’t that be nice…??
in all reality, the best we could probably hope for is a 2nd or 3rd rd pick for Cook. which, in the long run, might be worth it to avoid the headache if keeping him around is unpopular in the locker room.

Can I buy a vowel...?? +1, Kluwe.
Tony Dungy...
…pipe dream, i know, but Dungy has said he doesn’t want to coach anymore… but i wonder if he’d be interested in a GM job. he likes Frazier, so perhaps with a proper GM, Frazier could have a better chance at success.
URGH that would be awesome.
