Raymond, one of the Vikings' sixth-round picks this season out of the University of South Florida, got his second start at safety for the Vikings on Saturday against the Washington Redskins. He made the most of it, recording six tackles and making a real veteran move by batting down Rex Grossman's Hail Mary pass in the end zone at the end of the game.
Oh, and there was that minor moment where he recorded the first Vikings' interception since
Paul Krause Joey Browner Darren Sharper Jamarca Sanford got one at the end of the Arizona game, snapping a string of 298 pass attempts and 39+ quarters of football since the Vikings caught a pass thrown by the opposing quarterback.
Make sure you head on over and cast your vote for Mistral Raymond as this week's Pepsi Rookie of the Week!
