All in all, it may have been the most exciting game of the season to watch (even while gorging on Christmas ham and pecan pie).
But, of course, we also just happen to lose our most dynamic player to a very serious injury...

Couldn't the Purple Gods have given us something to grasp onto as the season winds to a close? I guess not. Instead, it's just more adversity (as usual).
I have a bad feeling that the Bears finale may get blacked out here in Minneapolis, but I really hope not. I don't want my final memory of the 2011 season to be the above photo.
What a roller-coaster ride this game of football can be sometimes. A few months ago, Ponder looks like the answer and hope was riding high. Now? There are just oh so many things in flux. I'm trying to stay optimistic about the future. but it gets difficult at times. This is one of those times.
