As we all know Adrian Peterson suffered a devastating knee injury in Saturdays 33-26 victory over the Washington Redskins. And one couldn't blame the guy if he were to mope and pout about the injury which for many players can spell either the end of their careers, or careers that are much less effective than before the injury.

"Anytime you take a blow to the knee like that, you’re concerned about the ACL, MCL," Peterson told the Associated Press as he stood on crutches in the locker room. "I’m trying to stay as positive as I can."

So what does Peterson do as he sits in the locker room after the injury, obviously still in pain?

Apparently at some point during the game, Peterson spotted a fan with a sign that read, " only thing I want for Christmas is Adrian Peterson to sign my jersey." Peterson, knee in shambles, instructs a member of staff to go to go get the kids jersey, which he then signed. That's a pretty damn selfless act for the greatest running back in football. Something that this kid will never forget, no doubt. Just another example of the coolness that is Adrian Peterson. So get well soon Adrian! Take is easy for a while and know that there are many rooting for you!
