Your Fantasy Football Sleeper For Week 13
Our pick from last week, Oakland tight end Kevin Boss, unfortunately did not play "like a boss" last week, winding up with only one catch for eight yards. In my defense, nobody told me that the Raiders decided that they were just going to let Sebastian Janikowski handle all the scoring, but never the less, I hope that my pick this week is a bit more fruitful for your team, should you choose to pick him up.
And, you know what? I'm staying home for this one. Yes, I'm going with a member of our own Minnesota Vikings.
Yes, the Denver Broncos are much improved on defense during their recent winning streak, I'll grant you that. But their defense is still susceptible up the middle, and that's why I think Toby Gerhart can redeem himself after a rough week against the Atlanta Falcons. As long as the Vikings don't try to run that stupid stretch play with Gerhart too many times (because the damn thing NEVER, EVER WORKS) and are content to just let him pound away at the middle of the Denver defense, Toby should do alright.
With Adrian Peterson on the shelf and pretty much nothing but Percy Harvin left in the receiving corps at this point, it's going to be up to Gerhart to try to take some heat off of Christian Ponder. I think he rises to the challenge this week. According to Yahoo! Fantasy Football, Gerhart is only owned in 38% of all leagues, so if you could use a boost at running back, I think you'd do alright to add Toby Gerhart to the fold this week.

Another homegrown option...
Devin Aromashodu! After Percy Harvin (who we assume will play? what’s up with the illness??), is Devin Aromashodu (I really need to learn how to spell his last name without having to look it up every damn time). I mean, who else IS there? Champ Bailey will be covering Harvin all day (assuming he plays), and that means maybe our other fast receiver Aromashodu makes some plays.
Here are some of my other picks:
WR – Nate Burleson – 20 catches in the last 2 weeks, and he’ll be in a shoot-out with the Saints this week.
RB – Roy Helu – The newly proclaimed rookie starter for the redskins, went off for 108 yards and a score on the ground, and 54 yards in the air last week against a supposedly tough SEA run defense. He gets the surprisingly average Jets defense this week, and who else is there on the Redskins?
SKOL Vikings!
Not to pat myself on my own back, but...
(and I hate smugness), DEVIN AROMASHODU! Hell a game there. And good call on Gerhardt Chris (or do you prefer Christopher?
Why the total lack of comments on these fantasy posts? Are there not more fantasy football fans on the DN? What gives?
