Bravo Vikings! A bright future awaits your team

Hey guys, I'm a Bronco fan and a proud member of Mile High Report. That was a heck of a game our teams played yesterday! Even though you guys came up with the short end of the stick, I wanted to congratulate the Vikings on a hard-fought battle, and I wanted to thank folks such as Grime and Christopher Gates for being gentlemen and great ambassadors for your fan site! It was a pleasure to converse with you guys and I look forward to visiting the Daily Norseman as we go forward.

Though losing is never a comfortable proposition, I think you guys should be hopeful with some of the great talent your team has as you look to build and improve. Christian Ponder is a keeper fellahs! He is a hell of an athlete. I believe he has a football IQ that can develop and rival some of the great thinkers at the position. He has great instincts and can make plays on his own. Don't be discouraged by his mistakes, as his understanding of the game improves, so will his decision making, and when that happens, I sure don't want to face him! Percy Harvin is an absolute playmaker and the coaches are utilizing his skills in a lot of different ways. You have one of the premiere pass rushers in the game. Gerhart also impressed and is a great compliment to the one man wrecking crew in Adrian Peterson. You guys have a lot of pieces and as seen by your great run a few years ago, and are not that far away from being contenders in a very tough NFC North.

I know as fans you have had your hearts broken many times. I can sympathize...I lived through embarrassing defeats in the super bowl to the tune of 42-10 and 55-10. But just know that as low as the defeats are, the victories in those games are a million times better. When you guys get your shot at the Lombardi Trophy, you'll have a Bronco fan rooting along with you...so long as you aren't facing my team;) Good luck with the rest of the season, you guys are always welcomed over at MHR!
