EDIT: I was going to do something like this, and may expand on it further later, but for now NMVike has done a damn fine job. Thanks! - Chris
Thanks to our friends over at Cincinnati's SB site Cincy Jungle, the results for the QB class of 2011 are in. Remember the goal is to score a 26 or higher on the Wonderlic, start 27 or more games over your college career, and complete 60% or more of your passes during said college career.
Results posted after the jump.
| Name | School | Pass/Fail | Wonderlic | Starts | Completion % |
| Christian Ponder | FSU | Pass | 35 | 35 | 61.8% |
| Greg McElroy | Alabama | Pass | 43 | 27 | 66.3% |
| Andy Dalton | TCU | Pass | 29 | 50 | 61.7% |
| Blaine Gabbert | Missouri | Pass | 42 | 29 | 60.9% |
| Jake Locker | Washington | Fail | 20 | 39 | 53.9% |
| **Colin Kaepernick | Nevada | Fail | 37 | 49 | 58.2% |
| *Ricky Stanzi | Iowa | Fail | 30 | 32 | 59.8% |
| Cam Newton | Auburn | Fail | 21 | 14 | 66.1% |
| Ryan Mallett | Arkansas | Fail | 26 | 29 |
57.8% |
Does this change your opinion about any of these prospects? Or does it strengthen your case as to why we should draft your guy? Explain in the comments below please.
*It is worth noting that Stanzi is only 2/10's of a % point from passing the completion standard. He scored well above the qualifying mark in both Wonderlic score and games started.
**Kaepernick's Wonderlic score was not available, so it would be interesting to find out if he failed 1 or 2 criteria for this test.
UPDATE: According to this post and this report from NFP Kaepernick scored a 37.
