Well folks, the voting is in, and with the 14th overall pick, the St. Louis Rams have selected Cameron Jordan, DE, California- with a whopping 1% victory, which I'm pretty sure makes that officially the closest contest yet..
Very shortly thereafter, mock Jordan joined the growing group of young athletes who are currently locked out in the back alley of mock Radio City Music Hall- with some still looking for the promised cookies. It looks like the Rams will have their upgrade at defensive end, and should it work out, perhaps they'll be the strongest contenders now... in the NFL's weakest division.
Onto the Miami Dolphins at pick number 15!
So now we're onto the Miami Dolphins, who, in their continuing quest to compete with the Jets and Patriots, will be looking to get... well, we'll see! There are a few routes they could go here. The top QBs are off the board now, with the exception of Ryan Mallet. Will the ‘phins take the flier and look to upgrade their QB position? Or perhaps they'll try and boost their receiving corps- or, they could potentially find an impact player for defense, which they are actually fairly underrated at. Certainly, in a division that contains Tom Brady, defense might be at the top of your mind.
But that's all up in the air right now, and it's up to you, the good folks of the Daily Norseman, to decide Miami's fate.
