Adrian Peterson One Of Final Four In Madden '12 Cover Voting

Stay connected for news and updates

Whether you want him to keep advancing or wish that he had been knocked out a few weeks ago, the fact remains that Adrian Peterson is one of only four NFL players with a shot to get himself on the cover of the upcoming Madden NFL '12 video game from Electronic Arts.

In the most recent round of voting, Peterson got himself a surprisingly easy victory over last year's cover athlete, Drew Brees, by a margin of 62% to 38%. This has set him up with a match-up against another man that has been on the cover of a Madden game once already in the past, current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. (Vick was on the cover of Madden 2004. . .he then proceeded to break his leg during the pre-season and miss 12 games.)

The winner of the match-up between Peterson and Vick will move to the finals to take on either Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis or not-Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis.

Again, vote however you deem appropriate, depending on how strongly you believe in the "Madden Curse," by going to the website right here.
