Whilst moochin around on the intermcwebbythingymajig i noticed the following article on NFL network
http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/09000d5d81f3c0d2/article/sounds-crazy-but-bengals-best-pick-at-no-4-might-be-no-pick
Now, i have no idea as to the credibility of this La Canfora guy, and i know the article focusses on the Bengals (although it does mention us in the second to last paragraph).....but is this something we would....or even could...ever do?
What he writes seems to make sense, but is it for real? Could it really ever be a credible option? Is it really possible to "not pick" your guy, wait 5 or 10 picks then go back and get him?....and what about the option he mentions about ploughing the savings back into FA?
My initial feelings were "what the heck you chattin about Jason", but after a while there does seem to be some sort of crazy logic to it and given the mixed feelings about this years draft prospects, would this be a way of getting "better value" for our guy (whoever he is)?
