Well the Vikes surprised us again (but not Mike Mayock) and went with Notre Dame TE Kyle Rudolph with pick 43. I'm starting to like this pick more and more as the night wears on. I definitely would have been fine with risking it with Da'Quan Bowers, but this gives Ponder another security blanket here to start off his career. I think Rudolph will fit in very well here and is already being compared to Rob Gronkowski, except bigger. This was definitely a value pick, taking the best player available and not a big need...but I love it. I am definitely excited for the start of the season (assuming there is one) to see what these rookies bring to the table.
