Joe Webb WR?

Lets take a quick look at our current Wide Receivers.

Our best man, SIdney RIce is no lock to be on the team next year, as he may get big bucks in free agency, if under the new system he is a free agent.

Percy Harvin- the man is a best when he is on the field, but unfortunately he may always have migraine issues

Greg Camarillo- should have a bigger role this year and has very good hands

Emmanuel Arceneaux- signed this guy in the offseason, could be an x-factor or a dud

After that my friends it gets ugly quickly

Bernard "BB" Berrian- probably will be cut when the vikings have the chance, very underwhelming player, with questionable hands

Hank Baskett- most famous for a) having a hot wife.  b) flubbing the onside kick in the Super Bowl.

Freddie Brown- Who???

Juaquin Iglesias- released by the Bears last year, only a second year guy.

Jaymar Johnson- I like johnson.  he was hurt last year, but seemed to making some progress.

In Mine Opinion, we have little depth at Wide receiver and are one injury from having a rag-tag group out there.  Yes we have Shank and Rudolph, but we need to be able to stretch the field and give Ponder or who ever else is behind center some deep threats.

Therefore, I suggest moving Joe Webb BACK to WR.  We all saw his athletic ability last year and I would love to see it at WR.  You could always run some WIldcat plays with him. But i think Webb could provide some valuable depth at the WR position.  I still think that the Vikings will go get  veteran guy, between Ncnabb, Palmer, or Vince Young, or Matt Hasselback.  Ponder would then be the backup, or be given a chance to start over the vet.  And you don't draft a QB 12th overall and make him the 3rd QB.  That leaves Webb as the 3rd stringer, and would you rather have him rotting on the bench, or contributing to the vikings as a member of the receiving core?  Thoughts?
