Going along with this before the main story, the Vikings have 3 stories in a row on the front page of NFL.com, I don't know where all this Vikings love came from, but I like it! 

Apparently Oshioihaveadiffcultname Atogwe heavily considered signing with the Vikings before heading over to the Redskins. Let me say how great this move would have been for the Vikes had they managed to sway him toward their Super Bowl 2011 Winning team. He would have replaced Madeiu, or essentially the vacant space on the field where a Safety is supposed to be. I was pushing for him to be signed by the Vikings, but had no knowledge that we had an actual guy in our FO that cared what Vikings fans actually wanted. At least the CB's might be something to watch this year, if we can manage a healthy Chris Cook, Antione Winfield, and a recovering Cedric Griffin all for the same game. I really don't like what I saw from Asher Allen, that 70 yard pass play from the Patriots, and how he consistently got burned by big name receivers sticks out like a sore thumb. Add Brandon Burton into the mix and see what he's got to offer and we may have our defense back on track this season reclaiming Number 1 rushing defense, maybe in the top five for passing defense? One can only dream. Anyways, discuss your thoughts.
