Culpepper Wants Another Chance
According to a statement made to Pro Football Talk.
If we were to bring in a veteran, I would absolutely consider Daunte. He would only command a minimum contract and he knows his role:
"Hopefully, the landscape has changed in the NFL for veteran quarterbacks like me who are ready, willing and able to play right away while the rookie quarterbacks get up to speed. "
He seems to be a much more mature QB than the one that we used to know.

Yeah, I'm assuming that's why DC is trying to get back to the NFL.
Last year he said he wanted to be back with the Mountain Lions and with Denny Green.

I'll welcome him back
If he’s in tip-top shape, motivated and ready to return to the Culpepper we saw in 2003 and 2004
Holy hell...
He threw a sixty yard, sideline catch with tight coverage in that video. I’d love him back, but only as our third QB behind Ponder and Webb.

Stats
10-12 TD to INT ratio 1,944 yards. Couldn’t find completion percentage. You could contribute some of this to bad route running, unreliable recievers, and just lack of talent, but if your a former first rounder and sucessful QB in the NFL, you should be able to put it inbetween the numbers and give the reciever a chance. Like I said above in another comment, third on the depth chart only.

Yeah, some of that was the recievers.
His throws weren’t always perfect either, but I saw a few games where he threw them right where they needed to be and they just couldn’t bring it in.
I think I remember there being some timing issues too.
UFL still has their games posted online for viewing if you’re interested in seeing him play.

I guess he is no longer thanking Chris Gamble
"We can't get pushed around," Haley said. "What commentators say about us, that's their job. My job is to try and limit as many people who want to take liberties with our guys as possible."

Saq and spoke with him last year
I have known him for awile thru former coaches I worked with. My God-son played with him and he looked in excellent shape and had some really nice throws. Forget the stats. His WR were not NFL experienced but at the end of the year he was connecting with 2 pretty good NFL prospects in West and Ty Biddle.
I kinda joked with him about a return and at the time and he was open to a return but Chilly was still HC so he didn’tsee much hope.
Be cool if Moss and Frazier had a mano e mano talk
