Tonight is when we get a glimpse of our beloved team in action for the first time since last season!
Things to watch:
RBs: Who doesnt want to see AD Adrian Peterson in action!?! I've missed him this offseason/lockout, and im excited to see how him and Toby Gerhart do. Don't forget Lorenzo Booker! There is no problem with our RB situation so i see 150-200 yard totals for the combined yards of all three.
WRs: People say our Wr situation is bad. It really isn't because we have so much depth. Even with Sidney Rice gone, we have our #1 WR. (Still have Rice on my fantasy team) That #1 is our pickup from Atlanta, Michael Jenkins. He did exceptionally well in training camp. Also Bernard Berrian did very well! The Vikings have him #1 on the first wave of the Pre-Season depth chart. He just did badly with Favre. Then we have a sleeper WR with Jaymar Johnson. He was injured for the majority of last season and he has shown glimpses of greatness.
TEs: Visanthe Shiancoe won't play tonight in Tennessee, but his predecessor, Kyle Rudolph, our #2 pick out of Notre Dame, is very good and hasn't dropped a pass in TC. I even saw him catch a one-hander. Jimmy Kleinsasser and Jeff Dugan will do their job as blockers.
OL: Not very happy about it. It should do alright but in TC, it was at times very bad and at times very good. So it could mean two things: The D-Line is doing amazing or the OL just plain ol' sucks.
DL: Jared Allen and Kevin Williams are the only ones left after this past season. However, Brian Robison and Remi Ayodele will do well in taking their spots. I see sacks tonight, i see QBs hitting the turf, and i see a powerful run block game.
CBs: Depth, but not very good.
Its only preseason, but I see good things. SKOL Vikings.
