totally non-Vikes related, so i apologize for the very off-topic subject this will be, but i had to share a few gems from my fantasy draft tonight.  we're in our 5th yr, online, had a few newcomers rotating in and out over the years but there's a solid core of managers who have been there from the start.

an interesting 1st rd to say the least...

2. Andre Johnson (<~~ first eyebrow raise of the evening came verrrrry quickly...)
3. Chris Johnson (<~~ ballsy move.)
4. Philip Rivers (<~~...really??  wow.)

6. Larry Fitzgerald (<~~ i was gonna be lucky if i got him in the 2nd, but this early...?!)
7. AP (<~~ this is me...keeper league...what can i say, i've had him 5 yrs running, now...)
8. LeSean McCoy
9. Aaron Rodgers
10. Michael Turner
11. Ray Rice
12. Rashard Mendenhall

so the end kind of tapered off regularly, but a crazy start.  rd 2 was steady, but then rd 3...

• 3.6 - Philly DEF (<~~ haha, foolish newcomer, bummed i don't even get to play him.)
• 3.11 - NE DEF (<~~ haha, foolish Patriots fan, pumped i get to play her twice.)
  

after that it mellowed out pretty well until a run on DEF from the late 6th through the 8th.  people are crazy...

FWIW, a six-pack of Summer Shandy and a glass of Sambuca later, i'm feelin' pretty good about my team:
