A Test Of Fortitude

Tomorrow is the big day, Vikings vs. Cowboys. This game is always a great one, and it'll be in the dome. We all know how weak our O-Line was last year, and for the most part, they have been pretty average in our first two preseason games, but now a true test comes that will hopefully show us how the line is going to take to immense pressure. Rob Ryan's defense. I'm a fan of football, the game, so I watch every game I can and what I've noticed is that Rob Ryan is very predictable and reckless in his blitzing. In their last game vs. San Diego, I must have seen five or six all out blitzes, and the rest of the time they were sending five or six. San Diego had no problem adjusting, as they started doing quick slant routes and bubble screens to burn the defense. San Diego went on to win 20-7.

This is exactly what I expect our offense to do Saturday and all season long against the pass rush of Detroit, Chicago, and Them. If we adjust the way San-Diego did, we can just dump it off to PH or AD and they can burn the defense...all day... long, and we won't necessarily need a good O-Line to have a sucessful passing offense. And when they adjust and start spreading the field again? Adrian freaking Peterson will make them pay. SKOL VIKES!!
