Who knows maybe getting cut will be Mckinnie’s wake up call. Honestly, if he lost a bunch of weight it wouldn’t be the worse thing bringing him back. Also thought it was interesting that for how active Mckinnie is on twitter that he hasn’t change the background that says he is a member of the Vikings.

seriously, this guy has underachieved for a long time. I was relieved that they were finally taking steps to address the biggest issue on this team, the O Line. please don’t bring him back now. On top of being over rated, he’s had off field issues at least twice. Hicks played as well if not better a couple years ago. MOVE ON!!!
Somewhere I read that McKinnie said it was his choice to leave

Already Moved On!
McKinney has clearly been the worst performer on our second weakest group (D-Backs being weakest) over the last 5 or 6 years. Our O-Line improved by releasing him. Good luck to him but do not bring him back regardless of how little the cost might be.
That is a bold statement...
Despite his lack of effort, he is still one of the better LT’s in the game.
To say he is the worst performer on our offensive line is saying a lot when our line is weak as it is.
and yet he was the only one cut from last year's o-line...we even kept an injured herrera.
