Webb to WR?

Per Mark Craig from Star Tribune (emphasis added):

Joe Webb ran one play at receiver during the group install (offense runs play with no defense). He lined up wide right, ran a deep route and didn't make the catch. Afterward, Frazier made it clear the team isn't currently looking to expand Webb's duties outside of the QB position. Frazier said Webb's use anywhere but quarterback will be determined by whether he or Christian Ponder wins the backup quarterback role. If Webb wins the No. 2 job, he won't be used elsewhere. If Ponder wins the No. 2 job, Webb would be used at receiver. With the NFL's new rule allowing No. 3 QBs to enter the game without a team losing access to its other two QBs, Webb would  be able to play receiver while serving as the No. 3 emergency QB.

Interesting development, and this should put to rest all the speculation on "getting the kid on the field". Opine below.
