Well, even better news on the contract front.

Fresh off the heels of Chad Greenway's new deal, ESPN's Kevin Seifert is reporting that the Vikings and Adrian Peterson, the Best Running Back In Football, have agreed to a 7 year contract extension.

Seifert didn't report any numbers other than the number of years, but it's got to be at least as much as Chris Johnson of Tennessee got, which was $50 million with $30 million guaranteed.

So, enough of the 'let's trade AP' talk or 'AP will be a free agent next year.'

He ain't going anywhere.
