In light of the dreadful choke against the Buccaneers, I was quite disappointed in something other than Percy Harvin only being in for half of the plays, getting outscored 24-3 in the second half, and offsides penalties taking away a turnover. It happened after the 3rd quarter had ended. My thought-process at the time was, "Well, we're only up 10 now with 15 minutes to go and our offense sucks and our defense hasn't stopped LeGarrette Blount in the second half, but at least I get to see Ragnar dance in the end zone when the cheerleaders perform." At that moment, the cheerleaders (who have improved mightily since last year) ran out onto the field in the end zone farthest from my seat. Ragnar was standing behind the near goalpost. The music started and the cheerleaders did their thing. But there was something wrong. Ragnar wasn't moving! He just stood behind the goalpost and kind of nodded his head and moved his hips to the beat every once in a while! I don't know about my fellow Norsemen, but I was quite disappointed. It had become a staple in the Metrodome. Maybe the team is so bad, the mascot won't even dance anymore! Or maybe he was instructed by the Vikings not to dance anymore. I know there are more important things to talk about, but does anyone have any idea why he didn't bust a move? Comment with thoughts or an answer, if you have one, to why he just stood there.
