The Vikings are bringing in Max Starks, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I'm not entirely sure if this move will happen but, we do need all the help we can get on the line at the moment.
Tom does point out something funny though: "@TomPelissero: So, the #Vikings are now bringing in 6-foot-8 left tackle who was cut for being out of shape. Funny how that works out: http://bit.ly/q5cnvu"
If they did end up bringing in Starks, I think it would give them the flexability in trying out the players in different positions. Perhaps they could try Charlie Johnson out at gaurd for Herrera. It might also send a strong message to the line that they aren't doing their job well enough.
Oline is our biggest problem, bar none. Whatever QB is out there, they are going to have one hell of a time doing much of anything. Even if we do go ahead and land the #1 pick in the draft next April, if we took Luck, which I don't think we would, we would still have a gigantic gaping hole at Oline. IWe would not be able to fix it very easily in free agency either, we would HAVE to address the situation in the draft.
What do you guys think of this? Do you think it will happen?
