I'm done being sad about our current halftime situation and blown leads.

I’m on to being excited to see Ponder start. I think we’d be better off in the long run starting Ponder vs Arizona. People bring up that it could hurt his confidence and make him afraid to make mistakes, but I don’t buy that. Anyone who has ever been around Ponder, wether it’s conducting an interview (Skol Girl) or sitting in the stands (me on many a Saturday night) know that Ponder ozzes self confidence and control.

I suppose all of this revolves around how well McNabb plays on Sunday, but as of late, McNabb’s play has been downright awful this season. I might go as far as to say that he’s the 31st best starting QB in the NFL (bet’cha can’t guess who’s 32nd). I can’t see anyone arguing that Ponder couldn’t make the easy throws that McSuck is throwing into people’s ankles. We’d have a better chance of winning a couple of games with Ponder making short, accurate throws and sustaining drives with good decision making and we’d be building for the future. Start the kid vs Arizona unless McNabb puts up monster numbers against a weak KC team.

The road to fulfillment in any line of endeavor is always marked by an initial breakthrough; however, that first taste of success needs to be replicated again and again in order for supremacy to be sustained. We are Vikings, and our breakthrough is now. We will get that first down, then get a touchdown. Then we'll kick your ass.

lions fan here

hope u guys get the W, your team played so damn hard last week that u fans desrves a W, your to me not 0-3 more like 3-0 the way u played. wish u guys some luck and there is no damn way u guys should be ranked at the very bottom of the league, anyone with a brain who watched your games should understand the vikings are a rwaly hard to team to face.

We only played hard in the first half of all our games.

We should be 3-0 but that certainly doesn’t mean we didn’t catch the right breaks or we weren’t lucky. No, we definately earned our 0-3 record. MacNabb has been downright awful in the second half of all the games and the playcalling has been sketchy on both offense and defense. Congradulations, it finally seems like you guys have a franchise QB, now it’s our turn.

I can't see Ponder being anything less than servicable,

so if we have the opportunity go draft luck, we’d bamboozle the hell out of whoever wants him. It’d be like the Herschel Walker trade all over again!!

Do you feel LUCKy, Punk? Well? Do you?!

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!

I don't care which

I just want a QB that that can hit a reciever in stride, actually hit a receiver would be nice. The last two QBs we have had think we are playing basketball. TJ with the jump pass and McNabb likes the bounce pass. How about a chest pass and hit someone in the numbers. If they drop it then we have a different problem.

Please LF start someone new at least in the second half.

Offense hasn’t been the problem in the first half, so there would be no reason to fluxuate QB’s at halftime. Just put Ponder in fulltime : )
