Despite the continuing concentrated effort of the Minneapolis mafia city leaders and redstar tribune to chase a profitable (not a dirty word) 50+ year responsible employer and taxpayer to the citizens of the Great State of Minnesota right the heck out of the Midwest unless they rebuild in traffic jam central Minneapolis (wow is this a seriously unnecessarily long run on sentience... my sixth grade English teacher is probably cringing right now... but i digress, comma) the Nordic Purple employers of the North Star State have stated once again and for they record "thanks but er... we still believe that Arden Hills is the best option of a publicly owned sports destination".
Yeah I'm paraphrasing but you get the general Idea.
In short, Vikings say Arden Hills is still the choice.
Letter after the Jump.
For the Metrodish site to work, the Vikings say they would need to spend three seasons playing at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium. They say they would make $37 million less in that time. They say TCF would need nearly $11 million in facility upgrades, plus another $19 million to upgrade parking options.
The team says that would push the true cost at the Metrodome to $962 million.
They say they still prefer to build in Arden Hills. From KSTP.com
