Wide Receivers in this years draft
With everyone pretty much in agreement that we need help at wide receiver, I thought I would try and get some input on who we could potentially look at (realistically) in the draft. In my mind, it is a given that we will not be looking in the first round, as we need protection up front. With that being said, our best possibility would be second or third round, especially with the chance we might steal a few extra picks with some diabolical trades.
So what potential 2nd/3rd round talent would you want to see in purple (hopefully rocking a Nike Vikings throwback as the first option this year. Current uniforms are played out)?

Maybe I'd better get this thing started
Before I get shutout on my first ever fanpost. Since Blackmon is going to fall to usin the second, we’ll cross him off the list now. After that, I would say anything is possible. I personally would find it hard to believe Michael Floyd drops out of the first round, but, it is not impossible. Just a stretch. If he were to somehow be available in round 2, I don’t know if I could pass up driving to NY and announcing the pick myself. At this point, I kind of hope Kendall Wright is picked before Floyd to make that chance greater. I can see Alshon Jeffrey dropping. I’m not sure what to think of his production decrease this past year, but would love to hear from an SEC fan who might know. I think Randle, Toon, or Dwight Jones might be decent 3rd round guys, and I think the coaching staff might get a good look at all three at the senior bowl this week. Maybe someone will show the staff something special. Fingers crossed.
For some reason i thought
His name was nick toon but i guess i was wrong. Maybe because he played for that evil empire. I would be ok with drafting him or that guy from Iowa in the 3rd or the 4th round.

Sorry if I was unclear above.
You are right, it is nick toon. When I wrote randle, I was referring to Reuben randle out of LSU. McNutt is the WR from Iowa. He will also be playing in the senior bowl next week.
Ok, good
I really like mcnutt from Iowa. He may not be a real speed burner but he should have pro level speed with good height and the hands to be good 1st option and redzone target.

Couple of mid rounders to keep an eye on:
Western Michigan’s Jordan White, and MSU’s BJ Cunningham.
