Your Latest Super Bowl Squares Pool Update

We're getting closer, ladies and gentlemen!

As of this very moment, 80 of the 100 squares in our Super Bowl Squares pool to benefit Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors have been claimed. Of those 80 squares, 75 of them have been fully paid for. If you're one of the three people that currently has one of the five squares that are not paid for at this point, you have a little more than 36 hours to get your payment in, or you're getting kicked out of your squares and they will become available to whoever wants them.

As we have stated from the very beginning, I am keeping none of the proceeds from this pool. The total for the entire pool being filled will be $2,000 ($20/square times 100 squares). Of that money, $1,000 will go straight to Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, and the other $1,000 will be split between the four people that are the winners in the pool. . .$200 for the first quarter score, $200 for the second quarter score, $200 for the third quarter score, and $400 for the final score.

The numbers for the two teams will be drawn whenever the grid is filled or a couple of hours before kickoff, whichever comes first.

Both the username and password are all lower case, just like you see there.

The PayPal address for sending in your entry fee is DailyNorseman AT Gmail DOT com, with the proper symbols being inserted at the obvious places. When sending in your money, please use "Other" as the reason for payment, as that's the best way to avoid PayPal fees.

I need something clarified

You state that winners will be on the first, second, third quarter and the final score.
So in the event of overtime, will the winner be on the end of the fourth, or the final score?

If you still want to do it but give it all to charity Ill let you keep my $20 and add another $100 if that is what the group and you decide to do.

It would suck to have JA’s charity get screwed because of some A-hole.

i just did the same

i’m really disappointed at whoever did that, but i’d rather all my money go to H4WW.

please, anyone who contributed to the Square Pool (and perhaps even those who didn’t), consider offering at least half of what you put down and put it toward JA’s charity. if we were willing to spend that kind of money and potentially lose it all, then we can certainly donate some, if not all, of it to a good cause.

Hell, the money was already gone, so why not. If possible , I’d like Chris to collect it here, and donate it on behalf of the D.N. community. If not, let us know where to send it.
