It's Saturday, and Saturdays in the fall mean college football. If you're going to be watching the college gridiron today anyway, what better way to do it than doing so while discussing it with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans?

The Minnesota Golden Gophers have their Homecoming today, as they face the Northwestern Wildcats. If you want to follow that one, I'll be doing updates for it over at our regional site. On a more national scale, the big games for this week are the Red River Shootout between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns, which will actually take place at Jerryworld in Dallas. That one will kick off at 11 AM Central time. The afternoon games will feature a match-up between the Stanford Cardinal and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, among others. For the late evening slate, the big one takes place in Baton Rouge, as the South Carolina Gamecocks hit the road to take on the LSU Tigers.
