Ok, the 2012 Minnesota Vikings have exceeded everyone's expectations (DIE HARD FANS INCLUDED)...However we seem to have a bit of a dilemma. The vikings are substituting FG's (Walsh you are doing an EXCELLENT job by the way) for Touchdowns. Although we are 4-2 and currently in second place in our division, the 2012 vikings schedule only gets tougher from here on out...So it becomes imperative that we beginning making our RED ZONE visits count. Which brings me to my reason for posting this fan shot. We have all been looking for more ways to utilize Mr. Harvin in the Red Zone (correct)...We are also currently searching for ways to get Mr. Webb (remember him) on the field...Well, how does the read option pistol sound!?!?!?!?!? For those who have no idea what i'm talking about, The read option pistol formation would consist of
WR LT/ LG /C/ RG/ RT/ TE WR
Webb(QB) Peterson (HB)
Harvin (HB)
Note: With the LB's being forced to make sure peterson does not have the ball, that would freeze the LB's in there tracks allowing Webb the option to tuck and run, pitch to harvin OR... with harvin keeping his pitch relationship; webb could also throw the ball to what should be a WIDE OPEN TE (Kyle)...and if you have any further questions on exactly how the offense would work in the NFL...reference our last game against the redskins...and you should have all the answers you need concerning our NEW found REDZONE offense...SKOL! Now quick, SOMEONE get this article to the MINNESOTA VIKINGS COACHING STAFF (effective immediately)!
