A win is a win is a win, no matter how ugly it was.
Thank goodness that holds true for the Vikings, who played sixty minutes of largely unwatchable football against the Cardinals yet still escaped with the win.
But the Vikings weren't the only team that won ugly this past week, which made doing this week's power rankings pretty difficult. In the end, the same thing generally held true: winning matters above all else.
I bumped the Vikings up a single spot to #9 this week, but they're still trailing the Bears (up 1 to #4) and Packers (holding steady at #7). The Lions dropped 4 spots to the #23 spot after their loss in Chicago. Atlanta remains at the top and Kansas City remains at the bottom, which was an easy choice since both teams had a bye and couldn't help or hurt their respective causes.
