One last little tidbit before yours truly logs off for the evening over here. Not only did the Minnesota Vikings get soundly thrashed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in front of their home crowd on national television, but it appears that they might be down one of their more important defenders for the rest of the season.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said cornerback Chris Cook suffered a broken wrist

Cook has been performing pretty well to this point in the season, and if this turns out to be as bad as it could be, it will be the third season in a row that Cook has had his season cut short for various reasons.

Frazier said in his press conference that they would know more about Cook tomorrow. Hopefully that will be the case. But generally these sorts of injuries seem to wind up being season-enders more often than not.

So, there you go. . .guess it's just the cherry on the sundae for this one.
