It's game day, ladies and gentlemen, and once again The Daily Norseman will be your source for Minnesota Vikings football action, news and updates. Let's take a look at all of the particulars that pertain to today's game at the Metrodome.
Kickoff Time: Remember, today's game starts at 3:25 PM Central Time due to the Twin Cities Marathon being run today. The route for the race goes right past the Metrodome, so the game was pushed back to the late games to accommodate that. So, if you sit down at noon wondering where the Vikings are, you'll still have a couple of hours to kill before that takes place.
Television Info: Since the visiting team is an AFC team today, coverage will be provided by CBS as opposed to the usual Fox crew. According to the good folks at The 506, the announcers for today's game will be "Oh The" Bill Macatee and Steve Tasker. If you are watching the game via the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket package, you'll be able to find today's game on Channel 712.
Radio Info: As usual, the flagship station for Minnesota Vikings radio coverage is KFAN-FM 100.3. If you are outside of the main Twin Cities area, be sure to find your local Vikings Radio Network affiliate to tune into the action. On satellite radio, you can find the game on either Sirius Channel 113 (or Channel 91 for the Tennessee Titans feed) or XM Channel 229.
Weather: Still indoors. . .weather still not a factor.
We'll have an open thread for the early games coming along here shortly so that you can discuss the early slate of NFL action with your fellow Vikings fans prior to the kickoff of the contest between the Minnesota Vikings and the Tennessee Titans. Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!
