As it sits today, the Vikings are one of three teams with a 6-4 record in the hunt for the final playoff spot. But at the moment, they would fall short in the tiebreaker with the seahawks and buccaneers.
It is looking like a tough road to make the playoffs. The team should have winning the division as a team goal and can get a good start on that journey this week at Soldier Field. We will most likely be underdogs for the remainder of our games which seems to be a plus this year. With a strong performance down the stretch a march deep into a playoff run is within reach. In a worst case scenario, I'd like to think the team could eek out one win in six chances, hence the poll question. The bears showed several problems on the field Monday night. They were showed up in prime time and will be out to right the ship. The Vikings can not come off the bye week and be flat on the road and expect to win.
Just how good is this team? How much have they improved since last season? How much grit do they have left? All questions soon to be answered.
