Well. Sorta.

Not really a sale, I don't think. But limited quantities, surely. I was shopping with relatives over the holiday and we wandered into a TJ Maxx store, and what did my little eye, spy?!?! Vikings gear, official NFL stuff, no less, at sweet prices. And they had lots of it.

Now this was in Chicago... so when I got back home to Northern Virginia, I had to check out a TJ Maxx and see what there was to see... and lo and behold, VIKINGS GEAR!!! Official NFL Vikings Gear!

I'm too damned lazy to upload the pictures, take my word for it; this is really nice stuff :)

Normally, I wouldn't bother to brag about something like this, except that, 1) I already got mine :) so I'm good, and 2) the same stuff is available in both the Chicago store and the Virginia store, which suggests it's available in other places too, and 3) the prices are crazy good.

So there's a purple lining to the cloud that hangs over the Vikings right now; maybe Viking gear isn't popular with the bandwagon crowd, but to the Faithful, it's always in style :)
