Vikings At Seahawks: Fourth Quarter Open Thread

The Minnesota Vikings find themselves trailing the Seattle Seahawks as we head into the fourth quarter of play, and it looks like the Vikings might not have one of their best weapons going forward.

The Seahawks led 20-17 at halftime, and they increased that lead to 27-17 after a 3-yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch. On a play towards the end of the third quarter, Percy Harvin lined up in the backfield and took a handoff around the left side, and appeared to get his ankle rolled up on. He limped off of the field, but I don't think we're going to see him again this afternoon.

Adrian Peterson continues to have a big game, as he now has 171 yards on 16 carries through three quarter of play. His recovery continues to be remarkable, but he isn't getting a hell of a lot of support to this point.

Blair Walsh added a 55-yard field goal towards the end of the quarter. . .that would have been good from 70. . .to cut the deficit to 27-20 as we move into the fourth quarter of play.

The Vikings have been fairly awful on defense this afternoon, save for a three-and-out on Seattle's first drive of the third quarter. They've allowed Marshawn Lynch to go over 100 yards. . .the fourth straight game they've allowed a 100-yard rusher, which would have been completely unheard of a few years ago. Russell Wilson has also thrown three touchdown passes, two to Golden Tate and one to Sidney Rice.

Fifteen minutes of football left for this week, folks. Let's see if the Vikings can mount a comeback here.
