It's Friday, and in addition to getting down on Friday, the NFL teams release their final injury reports for the week. The Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans are no exception, so let's take a look at the reports for this Sunday's contest.
As we generally start with the visitors, let's look at the Vikings injury report first.
Obviously, the big one here is Robison, who didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday and was limited on Friday. He has a Grade 3 sprain of the AC joint in his shoulder, the most severe level of sprain. I think it's a long shot that he plays on Sunday, and that Everson Griffen will start in his place if he can't go. Other than that, nothing serious for the Vikings.
Now, on to the list for the Texans, which I'm not sure is standard operating procedure for this team or simply a Belichick-esque attempt to annoy the heck out of people like myself.
Yes, Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has taken the liberty of listing eighteen players. . .a full one-third of the roster. . .as "probable." I'd analyze it further, but I need a break after typing the list of names. I'm not sure who's likely to miss this one and who's not for the Texans, to be honest.
There you have your final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans leading up to Sunday afternoon's contest.
