We all know how well Matt Kalil is playing. We drafted him 4th overall and he's living up to his billing (and then some). What you might not know is how well the right side of the Vikings offensive line is playing.
Well, sort of.
Over at SB Nation Minnesota, I wrote about how ProFootballFocus.com's offensive line ratings might surprise a lot of Vikings fans. For instance, Phil Loadholt had his best game of the year on Sunday and has quietly turned into one of the most balanced tackles in the league. Not too bad for a guy that was getting run out of town by a lot of fans the past couple years.
Meanwhile, the right guard position remains a bit puzzling. Brandon Fusco keeps getting the start and most of the snaps, yet Geoff Schwartz is consistently outperforming him. PFF has a great theory why that might be...but you'll just have to read the full story to find out what it is.
