This happens to be my first fanpost here (even though I have been a member since 2009) and man what a great game to write about. First off, I want to give a huge thanks CitrusFLViking for selling my friend and I the tickets to the game. I hope all is well. I have been to several games in my 19 years, and this easily tops all of them. The energy in the dome was absolutely incredible, and it clearly rattled Rodgers and the GB o-line. If not for the noise, GB wouldn't have burned there timeouts and would have been able to challenge the Jarius Wright bounce catch.
A couple of things I would like to point out:
1. Sweet baby Jesus do we need Antione to be ok. Our secondary in the second half was atrocious 95% of the time, and without Winfield, we have to see a lot of Jefferson, and God forbid Sherels. Ouch.
2. The refs should be ashamed of the game they called. They clearly favored the peckers and the "touchdown" by 89(I think) should not have been reviewable. I don't care if the call came down to review it before McCarthy threw the challenge flag, that is a personal foul and results in the loss of review either way. It happened to the lions earlier in the season, but because it was the Packers, it flew? BS.
3.Adrian. F*@king. Peterson. If he is not voted MVP by a large margin, they shouldn't give awards in the NFL anymore.
4. If we can protect the ball again next week, I think we can get the win.
Thanks to all the awesome fans I got to share the game with, thanks to the Vikings giving me one of my best memories I have ever had, and here's to the Vikes sending a whole bunch of 'Sconnies home crying next week.
