To start the year, it seemed like the prognostication on DN was that the Vikes could be the teams they "should" beat. Then they beat a team they should not have, and everything changed around here. Huh. Maybe, at the end of the day, I'm not going to go all ape-poopy over this season and the performance of individuals this season. The Vikes have figured out how to beat crappy team. Now, they need to figure out how to beat the mediocre teams. Win half of the teams currently at .500, and the Vikes OWN the #6 slot, especially if one of the "missed wins" is Seattle.

It won't happen this year, but if the front office does what is needed, this team is dangerously close in 2013.

You may now proceed to vent about how the front office will screw up and [keep Ponder/draft crap/ignore Webb/keep coaches]. Don't worry. I'll wait here.

Me? I'm gonna keep trolling this team until they learn that throwing up crap efforts versus the Bears and Packers is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Because at the end of the day, that's the only thing that really makes me angry about this season.

PS -- My balls keep getting fogged up by the Pack. I hope that some day the Vikes learn to stop having those two teams mess with my big crystal balls. Other than that, this season has proceeded as I have foreseen it.
