The First Depressing Sunday Without Football

PrintWell I woke up this morning, wearing one of my Vikings shirts, and remembered: There's no football today. I realized this and wondered, what would I do today? Then the questions came rushing at me:
When does Free Agency Start?
Not until early March...
When does the combine start?
Not for 10 days...
When is the Draft?
April-ish...
What will I do to get my football fix?
Maybe watch some NFL replays on the NFL network, idk or else just go fetal and shiver in the corner and start the withdrawl process now.
What WILL I do today?
I'm sure I will clean or something, or go help a friend with a project at their house.
I'm sure these questions will keep haunting me as we go further into the offseason, but every year I find myself laughing a little bit as I remember this little snippet from one of the funniest men in football: Peyton Manning
Take heart football/Viking fans! I know I'm not the only one with these thoughts in my head, and I figured I would share them with everyone and try to lift some spirits.

Just watched the 1st season on Netflix 2 week's ago.
Great show. I think they are running Season 2 back to back today. I hope I remembered to hit record.

That show kills me..
Why on earth are they riding around in a 72 Winnebago? I mean I’m pretty sure they could hit up a RV lot and pick up one that has everything they want in working condition. Second they only have what three guns? It’s GEORGIA! I like in North Carolina and I guarantee that 9 out of my 10 neighbors have shot guns in their house probably half of them have pistols and I know for a fact one has an assault rifle, and I live in a nice part of town. Heck a pawn shop, there are multiple bases down there… Sorry about that, it’s a good show just some things don’t jive.

and put people in it that act believably. Or take a believable situation and have people act unbelievably (dukes of hazard)… Hall marks of a good show.

Highly suggest you check this series out on Netflix. Brother in law got me hooked after he showed me the pilot
You have to start with the pilot episode.
If you start midway through, you won’t get hooked. I tried watching an episode midway through a season (maybe season 2), and it just seemed depressing and dark. Watching from the beginning is no less dark, but it’s seriously addicting.
