Asante Samuel.....??

A high caliber player with low caliber stats this year?? Does the eagles think he is worth a 3rd round or 4th round pick??

Hear me out before you jump to conclusions...

Played 14 Games, 30 total tackles, 3 INT's, 1 TD. Statistically the lowest since he came into the game in 2003 and 2004. So does Reid want to trade away a SOLID CB to our Vikes?

Here is my theory...Give them a 4th round pick in next years draft with the availibility for a 3rd round pick pending on INT's, Games played, and takles. Let me remind you I am not a big fan on giving away talent in drafts but 6 out of 10 players in the 4th round or lower normally are bust and do no make the team with exception to some. NOT ALL BUT SOME.

With our Vikes going 7-8 games without a INT this year (Im not sure on the specific stat) our secondary needs help! Bringing in a high caliber CB that has had a low stat year because of the talent on the Eagles means Buying low for our Vikes!

Samuel seemed like the odd man out this year for the Eagles. Bringing in high profile talent for there passing game defense did them no good however why not lick our lips and give them a 4th rounder, potentially a 3rd rounder, for a SOLID SOLID CB in Samuel? Not only adding depth to our team, but adding a mentor for Cook to at least keep him out of jail and on the field?!?

Whats your take? Give the Eagles a 4th rounder? 3rd rounder? Combination of picks? None and keep our dreadful secondary? Let me know in the comments...
