I've long extolled the virtues of satellite radio on this site, and if you have it, you know how much better it makes your commute or any other trip you might have to take. For those of you that have either Sirius or XM, now you have something else to listen to as well.
Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Fran Tarkenton will debut his own show on satellite radio tomorrow, called. . .creatively enough. . .The Fran Tarkenton Show. The show debuts tomorrow, and will run from 5 PM to 8 PM Central time on Mondays.
The description of the show isn't much at this point, according to the SiriusXM page on it:
On The Fran Tarkenton Show, Tarkenton will tackle a wide-range of topics, interview notable guests from the worlds of politics, business, sports and entertainment and take calls from listeners nationwide.
The show is on SiriusXM Channel 104, "SiriusXM Stars Too," which touts itself as "Great Talk Radio For Guys." I will admit, this is not one of the channels that's in my regular Sirius rotation, but it should be worth checking out.
Heck, at least they spelled Tarkenton's name correctly.
