You Can Check Out The Madden Bowl Tonight

I know that a lot of folks here are big into gaming, and as a football site, I understand that a lot of our gamers also play the Madden NFL series of games. Tonight, the eighteenth installment of the Madden Bowl. . .or, for you Roman numeral enthusiasts out there, Madden Bowl XVIII. . .will be broadcast live from Indianapolis.

Coverage will kick off at 8 PM Central time, and you can watch the festivities on either XBox Live or on ESPN3 on the web. If you're going the XBox route, all XBox Live subscribers are getting free "Gold" access from today through Sunday, so if you were thinking about that (or even if you weren't), you can feel free to check that out, too.

There will be four teams competing in this year's "Team Play" competition, with the games being broadcast live. Those teams are:

All-Madden Team: Arian Foster, Maurice Jones-Drew, and Patrick Willis
Madden Legends Team: Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, and Warren Sapp
Madden "Clutch" Team: Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, and Tim Tebow
Rookie Team: Justin Blackmon, Robert Griffin III, and LaMichael James

Might be something interesting to take a peak at. I didn't watch last year's broadcast or anything, but the folks at PastaPadre that would know about that sort of thing deemed the whole thing to be a complete debacle, so hopefully this one won't turn out that way.
