Minnesota Vikings Stadium: Bagley Says Things Are Near The End
I know that you're all every bit as sick of stadium drama as I am, but it gives us something to talk about and speculate on going forward. Even though I'm hesitant to get too excited at this point, this sounds like a bit of good news.
Lester Bagley, the Minnesota Vikings' Vice President of Public Affairs and Stadium Development, sat down with WCCO this morning and said that the basic economics of a stadium agreement are in place, but there are some minor issues that remain.
Check out the interview that Bagley did right here:
Yes, I know that we've heard we're "near the end" a bunch of times. I've heard a few different things as to when the legislative session is going to end. . .some that say it will extend into May, some that say that folks will want to adjourn in late April. . .but I'm hoping that things will get to the end here sooner rather than later. Although it would be something if they could announce an agreement on draft weekend and truly signal the start of a new era in Minnesota Vikings' history.
