All this talk about how great Luck and RG3 is as well as what if they fall to us, what about adding a veteran qb to help ponder become an elite QB. What about adding a QB that would help our two young QB's? No im not talking about a McNabb or a Favre or a Manning, Im talking about adding a QB that knows he is a backup to our #12 pick last year in Ponder.
Jason Campbell (my fav)
Are a few that I have in mind that would allow Ponder to develop and see the NFL game from his front side and not sitting on his rear side.
Orton--is a quality QB that can throw the ball down the field. Lloyd put up a great season with Orton under helm
Jason Campbell--was sitting pretty in Oakland before he broke his collar bone. He was a decent QB in Oakland and showed potential to be a servicable QB. In my eyes, Cambell is a QB that I would like to see on our team.
Garrard--never really panned out in JAX but come'on man! Its Jacksonville! WHO DOES!?! Never really seen a good game from him but he claims to be 100% which would be nice for a incentive type contract.
What do you think? Whos the next veteran QB on the Vikings list that could help Ponder evolve in the 2nd coming of AROD?
