As noted American philosopher Redd Foxx was fond of saying, this is the big one, ladies and gentlemen.
The final game of the 2011-12 NFL season kicks off in about an hour from Indianapolis, and after this. . .well, it will officially be time to start getting into stuff like the NFL Combine, free agency, and the NFL Draft. However, today is all about the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
And the food. And the commercials. But mostly about the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
Feel free to discuss the whole thing here with your fellow Vikings' fans, ladies and gentlemen. Because, hey, the other three NFC North teams are at the same place that we are this evening. . .watching this game on television.
Have at it, folks!

Only 3 games in, and we´ve already made history!
Let's go Giants!
I hope mostly for a good game but the Giants
1) aren’t the Pats
and
2) Sent the Packers home
Word!

One complaint
I don’t give a damn how wonderful the man allegedly sounds. . .get Aaron Rodgers the hell off of my television screen. His team lost and he choked. . .who the hell wants to hear from him?

Sometimes it pays off
to be a foreigner from an other nation… not a single shot of Rogers in the pre-game show here, he wasn´t even mentioned all evening long ;-)

I will be eternally grateful to the the NYG's for eliminating the Packers not once
but twice from SB contention. Therefore, I root for the Giants in this SB.

Excellent start there Brady. LOL
Intentional grounding for a safety? Had plenty of time to get out of the endzone.
Going to guess that was a miscue between Brady
And whoever was supposed to be running the middle route.

HELL YEAH. BEST IDEA FOR A MOVIE EVER. AMIRIGHT GUYS?
And making it a sci-fi action thriller no less.
I love how they basically stole the Transformer’s look.
Yeah, at first the visuals and sound effects sounded and looked like another sequel.
I really wonder if they started with battleship as the idea and somehow ended up with the aliens or decided to throw that name on it later.

Brady got called for intentional grounding in his own endzone
And gave the Giants a safety. Other than that, it’s just been the Giants out playing the Pats.
That was a decent commercial
Until they tacked on the Star Wars bit at the end.

Y'know if we were still doing the squares thing...
It would be pretty crazy. A safety really screws up the more generic number possibilities.

I thought last year was bad
Wow.
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, it's just that your's is stupid.
www.vikescity.info
Everybody knows
that what American men want to see more than anything during a football game is a 50-year old pop singer from the 80’s…. wait, actually, it would be really cool if Cyndi Lauper did “Money Changes Everything” but that’s the sole exception.
Erryday I'm shufflin'
Madonna… eh, could be worse. But I’m a sucker for Party Rock. It’s too fun.
How does one party rock?

But to each their own. Both vehicles have been good to me.
I've been pondering how to say this...
The (involuntary) patronage GM and Chrysler got from me in 2009 is the last they will get from me.

I can't believe they didn't throw a flag on that hit.
Yeah I want those kind of hits to be legal in the first place but this year they weren’t. Consistency much refs?
I'm glad they had Cee Lo Green on the hafltime show too
At least somebody on the stage had anything resembling talent.
NBCsports stream does not work in oz..
it pisses me off so much that I can’t watch it via stream in oz
and people wonder why illegal stream exist.
However this game ends, it won't be one of the blowouts that plagued the '80s and most of the '90s.
Super Bowls in those years sucked.
