It can only be one

PRIMUS!

Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver would be a perfect way to refresh the Minnesota Vikings as they prepare to add to their 34-0 halftime lead next Superbowl. :)

Most air time already

Seems so simple, AC/DC songs are played through out each and every football game, be it college or pro. Let the entire worlds most famous band have at it.

nice

That would actually be awesome.

Halftime shows need to be asskicking music… because it’s a football game… and football games are violent and demand celebration to the rock gods. These pop-star shows are a drag. ACDC would fire things up, man!

I'd dig foo fighters, black keys

Something interesting and fun.

The Vikes aren't in a remodeling or reconstruction they are in a burn the place down and start praying they don't mimic the Lions rebuilding process.

Chris, I am right there with you.

I think Weird Al is the perfect choice for the Super Bowl halftime show next year. He is a genius and deserves a much wider audience.

Lupe fiasco

Weird Al is the perfect pick

In addition to the cross generational, also cross genre. Of course, they could always get Journey.

Not without Steve Perry

But now that you mention 80s bands. . .Van Halen is back together.
