Patriots after Spygate, 4-4 in playoffs 0-2 in SB

Pittsburgh Steelers Linebacker James Harrison tweeted after the game "Told you, Cheaters never win". So is this karma or the fact that the New England Patriots are with out a crucial weapon, stealing signs! There has been messages going back and forth about the issue but sometimes statistics in the playoffs don't lie.

Football is a game of inches and milliseconds and not being able to pick up on defensive play called, is huge. Their offense has sputtered and failed at critical times leaving me to think that Big Brother watching has put a crimp in the Patriots game plan. Now with an aging corp of players and not having that advantage, is hurting and hurting bad.

Whether it is karma or the football gods correcting a wrong, anyway watching Bill Belicheck and Tom Brady cower to the locker room is always a fun thing to watch.

I disagree

I think last game came down to Wes Welker dropped the balled late in the fourth quater. Patriots would be able to run down the cloak + get point on the board.. – I think people put to much into the spygate. Bill + Tom still has proven time after time that they are great – Not because the steal sign, but because they make good gameplans and use a huge amount of time on the game

wasn't just Welker dropping balls..

Branch and Hernandez both dropped a lot of passes in the fourth.. Also losing Gronk was a real killler.

The Vikes aren't in a remodeling or reconstruction they are in a burn the place down and start praying they don't mimic the Lions rebuilding process.

Defensive calls are not hand signaled anymore anyway

They use a radio in the helmet to send in the defensive calls just like they do on offense.

True...

But at the time of Spygate, a lot of them were and the Pats were a better team because of it.

That's my point

The question was is it karma or is it that they cant win now because they cant steal signs anymore. They wouldnt be able to steal signs now anyway.

Post Super Bowl Tweets

After every game especially a playoff game or the Super Bowl someone always has the finger pointing mode. For Steel Jimmy he is just a little bitter.

They way it was close

and a few very crucial dropped passes and a couple “DOH” moments by Brady, I seriously doubt that has any effect on the Pats losing 2 SB’s now.

Of course, in about 2 days, there will be conspiracy rumors that the reason for those dropped passes and bad passes is because the players were looking for signs to steal and pass on to Blichick. (insert eye roll)

Harrison is a fool

So overrated, It is safe to assume since the Steelers lost last year, they must no longer be getting signals either?
As a diehard Vikings fan, it pains me sometimes to see constant greatness , when our club has been stuck in sub- mediocrity for 40 years.
Bottom line is over 85% of pro athletes in the nfl use performance enhancers and if new England has a camera, they all did/do….
Hey, I’ve driven drunk before , I just don’t have a dwi ….. Harrison is an idiot, and twitter has ruined society!

This is bullshit. I don’t care what survey you got these numbers from, or wether or not you made them up, but it’s blatantly wrong.

If we can't laugh at ourselves, Packer fans will call us crybabies and we will be forced to kick their tooth in. I really don't want to go to jail (again).

I think that is assuming a lot.

I fully believe that at least 85% do use performance enhancers, I would even go so far as to put the number closer to 100%.

But that is not saying that 100% use BANNED performance enhancers.

Caffeine is a performance enhancer, it is just not a banned performance enhancer.

...

He implied that they were using banned ones, so I don’t see where you’re going with this.

Who said I was going anywhere?

Well, there are always ways to circumvent the rules, from using undefined substances that are not banned yet, to using substances that there is no test for yet.

Do you suppose

that there are many athletes who slam a “Five Hour Energy” shot before work (games)? I have a lot of co-workers who do.

I might be mistaking but...

The Patriots made the Super Bowl. They won the AFC. If the football gods hated them they wouldn’t have made the playoffs. And like NMVike said there are no more defensive signs. The Giants won because they were a better team. An honestly, I would have traded the season they had for what we had. I dunno, maybe I’m the only one…

If the football Gods hated them they would have replaced Bellicheck with Childress

Here’s my question if this is all about Karma what the hell did the Vikings do? take a crap in Jesus’s frappuccino?

Combining Volatile Subjects

Nothing like throwing James, Patriots and cheating in to the fire. First James Harrison sitting at home pissing and moaning about someone else is par for the course. Unfortunalely all my kids were born in upstate New York and are all Giants fans, (so I get alot of crap from them), but watching Bill “I’m a Pompous Ass” Belichick get his ass handed to him is good. Regardless if everyone is cheating it makes for good discussion.

Both SB's losses were close

If they had won, Patriots would be after Spygate: 6-2 in playoffs (a 75% record) 2-0 in SB rendering spygate a moot point.

It’d only hurt more if Patriots had never won a SB.

ANY team would take 2 SB appearances and 8 games in the playoffs.

Vikings in 2012 will be a Wonder-ful year. Seriously!!
I also love the game of golf. My favorite golf GPS app is OptimalClub.
It is hands down the BEST golf aid you'll ever have for club distances
