The last 28 hours ive been pretty bummed out. Not because our beloved Vikings havent signed a big name free agent. I recently started a twitter account just so i could follow all the free agent news as well as current Viking players. I have a unhealthy love for the Vikes, i know this. I DVR the north south practice, i read too many articles but "experts", I DVR the combine for goodness sakes.

Anyway im getting really sick of reading fans complain about the Vikings lack of signing free agents. This team is probably a 3 year project, 2 if things work out like planned. Everyone thinks we shouldve signed Vincent Jackson, Nicks, Carr. First off those 3 signings and we are over the cap not to mention no money to sign draft picks.

How many years do we see a free agent get tons of money and not pan out? Does spending on big name free agents equal win? Ask Philly fans? Be patient people we need young guys at good prices with a future. Every team gets small windows to make runs for a championship. Ours is not open right now be patient it will come.

John Carlson.....great pick up in my opinion..ive read different comments on the "web" such as"how dumb"..."we already have rudolph"....ya cuz why would a team run a offense with 2 good tight ends that never works..Well if Wes Welker wouldve caught 1 more pass in the Super Bowl..The Patriots 2 tight end offense wouldve got a ring!
