Just a quick opinion poll here: how many of y'all think we should have gone after this guy Laurent Robinson? We picked up John Carlson today, who will likely serve as our #2 TE, for 5 years and 25 million dollars, 11 million of which is guaranteed. These are facts that we all know. Robinson signed with the Jags for 5 years, 32.5 million and 14 million guaranteed. Robinson is 6'2, ran a 4.38 40 at the combine (in 2007 mind you), and is a year younger than Carlson despite having played one more year in the NFL than him. He broke out for the Cowboys last year to the tune of 11 touchdowns and it seems we could have picked him up for similar money to Carlson. I have to think WR is a bigger need for us now than TE.
